Lucy Merriam began modeling when she was six months old, first appearing in the Fisher Price Christmas catalog. She has also modeled for The Children's Place, Ralph Lauren, Toys R Us , Macy's, Target, Carter's Inc., Stride Right, New York University, Half Moon Bay, Jamaica, Alvin Ailey, Parenting magazine, American Baby magazine, Baby Talk magazine, and Preparation H. She has acted in commercials, including Valvoline, Kimberly-Clark, and Sprint, but only appeared on camera for Leapfrog.

Lucy's interests are school, jets (particularly military jets--she is a huge fan of the U.S Navy's Blue Angels), baseball, painting, horses and dolls. She enjoys music and is currently studying piano and drums.

Lucy's mother Lisa is a brand image consultant and book author (children's books and business articles and books) and her father Matt is an entrepreneur in the data technology field. She has a younger brother Joseph Merriam who also models and acts. Joseph has appeared on numerous magazine covers, on the Late night with Conan O'Brian as Will Ferrell's dare-devil infant son and in ads for Johnson and Johnson Baby Wash. Two semi-ferral cats, Millard Mtlvovich and Clarence Walter Beeks, round out her family.
